EVENTS CO-ORDINATOR

We have an exciting opportunity for an Events & Operations Co-ordinator to join our busy weddings, events and golf leisure business.

Room One is a premium, wedding and events venue in Cheshire. The Room One team deliver a varied and exciting calendar of events from weddings, conferencing, parties and charity events. Along with managing the busy day to day visitor hospitality offering.

Room One forms part of Hartford Golf Club, a well-established, family run golf centre with driving range, 9-hole course, 18-hole adventure golf, shop and golfers lounge.

The Person –

We are looking for a dynamic, driven and motivated individual to join the team. You will be passionate and excited about delivering a diverse range of events to an exceptionally high standard and have experience in the hospitality sector.

You will be a key team player who can communicate well with clients, visitors and colleagues. You will be well organised, with excellent attention to detail and take great pride in the Room One events space, the golf club and overall customer experience.

Day to Day the role will involve:

-      Operationally co-ordinate and deliver weddings, conferences and other parties/events to an exceptionally high standard, using a hands-on approach to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded at every opportunity.

-      Assist with the event administration, contracts and invoicing.

-      When required you will meet with clients, organise event show rounds, discuss event options and ideas and always look to maximise revenue.

-      Hold follow up meetings and produce detailed function sheets to be shared and communicated with the wider event and catering teams.

-      Ensure the Room One events space is set up accordingly prior to each function and de rigged following the event.

-      You will help to ensure that Room One and the lounge are well maintained and kept to show round standard.

-      Assist with the running of the bar, stock levels and ordering.
