Juniors at hartford golf club

Hartford Golf Centre is proud of our development of junior players into the game and we make it as easy as possible for young players to try golf. You don’t need to be a member, in fact you don't need any equipment or prior experience either, which helps make entry in the sport easy to start with.

The Driving Range

Families and Juniors are very welcome and the driving range is an ideal place for budding “tigers” to begin.

Prices are incredibly cheap and 50 balls for a child is just £5.00! There isn’t much you can do for a child that costs so little, it’s fun and healthy too. No need to book, just pop in, free club hire for all.

The Golf Academy

Advancing from here we have a fantastic Golf Academy for juniors run by our Golf Pro Adam Powell. This progresses youngsters in a proper format by following the industry driven Golf Passport scheme. See Adams website for details: www.apga.co.uk

Pay & Play

Once the junior is competent to go out on the course you can just come down and pay to play on the day or you can phone to book or go online to book a tee time. We have shorter blue and purple tees for young golfers and we have a thriving junior Academy. There are membership packages available for juniors that will give discounted or free green fee prices. Junior Members

Our junior members section is growing constantly and we run many fun competitions throughout the year. (Click here to go to membership page) Please note that there is NO JOINING FEE and that Juniors moving to Intermediate Membership will not be required to pay any additional Joining Fees and the process is automatic.

We aim to make golf accessible for everyone of any age and ability and we look forward to seeing you here at the club.
